Community Matters
The KCA is a gem that firstly serves to uplift and animate the gifts that are found in the Austin community. The founding intent was to ensure that local artists and agencies had an accessible, world-class home in which to express their creative endeavors – or to simply hold a community meeting where thoughts and ideas are shared and heard.
​Catalyst understands that not all persons or agencies have financial resources that would otherwise be needed to utilize such high-quality space, and for that reason we open our hearts and doors so no community
voice, no community talent or leader or creative thinker is absent from community possibility and potential. Three vital community partners on the same campus as the KCA are Rock of Our Salvation Church (rockofoursalvation.com), Circle Urban Ministries (circleurban.org), and Catalyst Circle Rock Elementary School (catalystschools.org). We are proud to work together on behalf of the community.
Additionally, other entities utilize the KCA to serve the community, such as Mather (mather.com) that serves a monthly senior luncheon and gathering, and the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance (praa.org) which provides artistic and human development opportunities for children.
