Sistema Ravinia

The Center's auditorium is named in honor of Ravinia Festival's Sistema Ravinia program, which provides instruments, trained instructors, and daily ensemble education to students at schools without music programs. The Catalyst Circle Rock student orchestra — the Circle Rockets — has grown into one of the largest African American elementary school orchestras in the nation, with alumni going on to the Chicago High School for the Arts and national music festivals.
